The PBA of Georgia and the Police Benevolent Association are asking for your financial support for the widow of Lt. Helio Garcia of the South Fulton (GA) Police Department. On Tuesday, April 15th, Lt Garcia was on patrol in his vehicle, when another vehicle veered into his lane creating a head on collision. Lt. Garcia later died at a local hospital

Lt. Garcia is a 15 veteran of law enforcement, having worked for College Park Police and Holly Springs Police before joining the South Fulton Police Department in 2018 when the department was created. Lt. Garcia served as a patrol officer, detective, sergeant, and in his current role during his time with the department. He was an instrumental force in building the agency from the ground up and was highly respected for his service to the community. Lt. Garcia was also a Marine Corp veteran.

Lt. Garcia is survived by this wife, and three children.

100% of the funds received by the PBF will go to his widow and children.
