Please donate to help Officer Brown

The Catawba River Chapter of the North Carolina Police Benevolent Association and the Police Benevolent Foundation are asking for financial support for Officer Ethan Brown of the Gastonia Police Department.

Officer Brown was injured in the line of duty responding to a domestic call and was shot in both legs. Brown will be out for an extended amount of time while he recovers from his wounds. Brown has a long road to recovery ahead of him.

Officer Brown started his policing career at the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, DC in August 2016. In 2019, Officer Brown left DC and started with the Dallas Police Department in Dallas, Texas before transferring to Gastonia PD in 2022 to be closer to family. Brown is a hobbyist woodworker and enjoys spending his free time woodworking.

100% of the money received by the PBF will go to help with Officer Brown’s recovery and expenses.
