The Mountain Chapter of the North Carolina Police Benevolent Association and the Police Benevolent Foundation are asking for financial support for Deputy Shawn Patton of the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Officer.
Last year, Deputy Patton was injured in a training exercise that led to surgery in late September to repair his right bicep, right shoulder, and right sub-scapula tendon. He is still out of work and is struggling financially.
Deputy Patton is a two-year veteran of the Sheriff’s Office and has a daughter that is a sophomore in college.
100% of the money received by the PBF will go to help with Deputy Patton’s recovery and expenses.
