The Catawba River Valley Chapter of the North Carolina Police Benevolent Association and the Police Benevolent Foundation are asking for financial support for Officer Ethan Brown of the Gastonia Police Department.
Officer Brown was injured in the line of duty when run over by a vehicle. Brown received multiple injuries to his legs that has caused him to be out of work and likely for an extended amount of time. Brown has a long road to recovery ahead of him.
Officer Brown started his policing career at the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington DC in August 2016. In 2019, Ethan left DC and started with the Dallas Police Department in Dallas, Texas. Brown started working in Gastonia in February of this year to be closer to family. Brown is a hobbyist woodworker and enjoys spending his free time wood working.
100% of the money received by the PBF will go to help with Officer Brown's recovery and expenses.
