Just She was scheduled for a heart transplant Friday at Vanderbilt. The doctors rejected the donor heart prior to the surgery, so she’s back on the waiting list. Please continue to keep Deputy Sharp and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Hopefully she won’t have to wait too long for the perfect heart.

The Tennessee Police Benevolent Association and the Police Benevolent Foundation are asking for financial support for Deputy Lydia Sharp, who works for Blount County Sheriff's Office.
Deputy Sharp is currently in Vanderbilt University Hospital awaiting a heart transplant. She was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure in May of 2022. Deputy Sharp is the mother of two.
100% of the money received by the PBF will go to help with Officer Sharp's medical and family expenses.
